Strings of Faith: The Journey of David Huff and the Giants

It is our great pleasure to interview a pioneer of contemporary Christian music, David Huff. David is originally from Pineville, Mississippi, and received his first guitar at age 11. He is the lead singer and guitarist for the Christian rock band David and the Giants. This music group started off in rock music in the 1960s and would later perform in concert with groups such as Styx, Black Oak Arkansas, Cheech and Chong, and Chuck Berry. After a spiritual awakening in 1977, he and his bandmates embraced Christian rock, releasing several faith-based albums. Known for hits like “Here’s My Heart,” David remains active in the Christian music community, performing, recording, and producing. You can find his music on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms. He released his book, The Other Me, in 2023, which is now available on davidhuff.com.
